Ok, I'm running a little on this one. I blame it on February - my least favorite month. Thank heavens it's also the shortest!

Currently Reading
The Pillars of the World by Anne Bishop (80% Complete): Ok this one got really good all of a sudden and I've plowed through a lot during my lunch breaks. I'll be done with it by the end of this week, so stay tuned!

The Hero With a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell (26% Complete): The Pillars of the World kinda distracted me and my Joseph Campbell book got neglected. Must make time...
Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-free Productivity by David Allen (52% Complete): Seriously, this could have been a much shorter book... the repetition is sapping my motivation to finish...

Jacob by Jacquelyn Frank (70% Complete): Waffling on this one right now.

Finished This Week
Incarceron (Incarceron, #1) by Catherine Fisher: I love, love, loved the premise! One of the best and least forced YA premises I've come across in awhile. But something just felt... flat to me in the actual execution in the book. All in all, there's YA books with weaker premises that drew me in more. The other thing that was odd to me that it was a perfectly clean YA book, except for at least one spot of strong, derogatory language. Seemed out of place and, c'mon, it's a fantasy world - you couldn't have made up a curse word? Overall, eh, I won't be reading the second.

Shadow Dance (Buchanan, #6) by by Julie Garwood: I'm a fan of Julie Garwood's Buchanan series. #6 didn't sweep me off my feet - it was slow for the first half and seemed rushed for the second - but I still liked it well enough. On to #7! (Note: Adult-Level Romance)

What a Dragon Should Know (Dragon Kin, #3) by G.A. Aiken: This was part of a e-book bundle I got from the library. I don't like e-book bundles!!! Who would make a bundle of three different authors' works and give you the THIRD book in a series by one author?? To cut to the point though: didn't like this book - treated the destruction of life a little to flippantly for me.

When Darkness Comes (Guardians of Eternity, #1)  by Alexandra Ivy: The second book in that e-book bundle I got. I didn't dislike this book. This is where I wish Goodreads allowed half stars so I could have an indifferent setting in between like and dislike. Let's just say I don't like this book enough to read another book by Alexandra Ivy.

TGRM Around the Web
This week I compiled a list of my favorite Life of Pi quotes, frankly forgetting how popular Life of Pi is right now as a result of the movie. I posted a version here and on Tumblr. It's been by far my most popular post on Tumblr.

Oooh, AND, AND, one of my favorite romance authors (Eloisa James) joined Tumblr and followed me after I'd posted a (fairly positive, but actually kinda ambivalent) review of one of her fairy tale books. She's publicly answered one of my comments and has also reblogged some of my posts! That makes me happy :)
